The Battle
The Battle of Gettysburg

- The Union Army held tight in a line on Little Round Top.
- The Confederate army tried multiple times to penitrate the Union Army's defenses all along the Union "fishhook" but was unsuccesful in each attempt.
- The final, most important push by the Confederates was Pickett's charge. (See more in Pickett's Charge)
- After Pickett's Charge, the Union Army won the battle since the South could not sustain the casualties that had been inflicted on them and were forced to retreat. (See more in Union Victory)
